Some Problems with my 2002 Cl500

Recently my speedometer and everything there stopped working ex: fuel gauge, etc. I just bought the car in February from a used car dealership. I took it to the mercedes benz dealership to have some things fixed. My right tail light is cracked and they said that its like $600 to fix. Also a peice of wood is loose and the driver door and they said that is $900 to fix. And now they are telling me the tires are cracked and those need to be replaced and all this other bs. So my question is should i take it to a different place to have it fixed? And also do Cl's break down a lot?

I'd take the car to a different dealer. The tail light lens is about $260 plus installation, which should take an hour, or less. $600 sounds way too much.
