Check engine light

What could be the possible cause of the check engine light going on and staying on? The gas cap was loose .

I do not know if this is a question or a statement, but a loose gas cap will put the cel on as this affects the EVAP system.

Have you sorted out the problem? My engine lights remain on all time and I have checked gas cap it is not lose. What could be the problem? Please help

Have the fault codes read out with diagnostic equipment and you will be close to an answer.
