2016 MB gla 250 transmissions

I am considering buying a used 2016 MB gla 250, are there any concerns with the gear shift timing and will I need to buy computer chip to add power?

I don't have much info on he transmissions.

They only way to add power is a tune. The chip is surface mounted so you would have to send in the entire ECU.

They make a ton of torque so I would hold off on the torque because they are already quite quick due to the big torqe.
