Starting the car

Just purchased a 2004 sl600 renntech, can't get it to start no manuals. When I put the key in the battery light comes on and "electric consumers offline" is displayed. When I try to start the car the brake light comes on and a message about distance is displayed. would love to take it for a ride Help

You likely have a dead battery. The "consumers offline" massage indicates this. Charge the battery at a LOW setting for 24 hours and try again. You have a starter battery in the front and a supply battery in the back. I would imagine both are low. Without using a trickle charger your car will likely die if it sits for more than a week.
