Towing a 94 C280

Howdy

About to take a trip in the ol' RV. Wondering if I can easily tow a 94 C280 behind the coach at highway speeds either on all fours, front wheels up, or rear wheels up.

Thanks!

Can't recommend it. I would put it on a small trailer. You will cause major damage to the driveline otherwise.

when towing a car with an automatic transmission you must un-hook the driveline, or get the driving wheels off the ground. The problem is that when a car is towed and the driving wheels, for example, rear wheels on mercedes, are on the ground, it spins the transmission and transfer case, however without the car running it can not be properly lubricated! So you will have to either tow with the rear up or disconnect the drive line!!
Have fun on your trip!!!

I too would recommend the trailer method.
