Engine overheating

I have an S320 mercedes 1997, What is the normal temperature in the gauge if everything is working properly?

Some parts of the World use ºC and others ºF

The normal temperature range for your model should be between 80ºC and 85ºC, on really hot days or stuck in traffic it could safely reach 90ºC or a little more.
