New Member 1972 450SL

Hello. I am another proud Mercedes Benz owner and look forward to good interaction with this forum. I am retired, and bought my 1972 450SL about 20 years ago. It's a wonderful car, but like most things over 40 years old, needs lots of TLC, which I enjoy giving it.

I am also a Marine, and spent a few years in the Corps during the mid-sixties. My SL proudly wears a USMC license plate.

Having had to give up golf due to medical reasons, I now spend time with personal computers (repairing/rebuilding), poker, fishing, cigars, and visiting classic auto shows. I live in SW Florida.

I just posted my first question for assistance with a ECU problem in the SL forum. Any help with it is greatly appreciated.

And I just answered your question on that thread, welcome to the forum, from another ex service member.
