Mercedes-Benz EQ Silver Arrow Has 738 HP and is 17 Feet Long
The Mercedes-Benz EQ Silver Arrow concept has made its debut at the 2018 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in Monterey, California.
The fully electric concept car is inspired by the 1938 Mercedes-Benz W125 Rekordwagen – a top-speed record car with a twin-supercharged 5.5-liter V12 engine that made 725 hp. In the hands of racing drive Rudolf Caracciola, the W125 reached a top speed of 268 mph (432.7 km/h) on the A5 Autobahn between Frankfurt and Darmstadt way back in the late 1930s. That record stood until November 2017, when the Koenigsegg Agera RS broke the record for world’s fastest production car after reaching 284 mph on a public road in Arizona.
