don't know much about a 280 (never seen one in the states; 300 yes, 280 no, although i only see what comes into the dealership), but i would imagine it would be in the fuse box under the hood. i will ask my technicians if they have any further insight. it would help to know the year of the vehicle as the 126 had some updates in its life.

ok, from one of my older techs, there isn't really an SRS fuse (at least on that needs to be accessed). he tells me that ninety percent of the time, the SRS light on a 126 is triggered by worn out brushes and contacts on the steering wheel contact spiral. i would pull the wheel and inspect them. more likely than not they will require replacement. the codes will need to be cleared after the repair.

I thought he was asking about ABS? not SRS?

ABS light will come on under many different conditions, most likely it is a dirty, or worn wheel speed sensor, depending on year and options, you will have one at each wheel (4), or one at each front wheel and one at the differential (total 3).

Benzworld.org has a couple 280 owners, ask your question there?
