17x8 wheels 5x112 pattern. Tires 235/40/17. Will they rub?
17x8 wheels 5x112 pattern. Tires 235/40/17. Will they rub? Thanks. These are anthracite Flik Lex wheels (19lbs a piece) from my Audi A4. They will look great on a black C230k coupe I think but I'm affraid it may rub. Anyone has 235 tires?

good news and bad news
The good news my friend is that , that size won't rub, I'm putting 18X8's in the front of my Kompressor and 18X9's on my Kompressor and the dealer said I can go bigger. The BAD news is that if your getting your rims from an AUDI A4 , They WILL NOT FIT. Audi has a 5X100MM spread between the bolts, Mercedes has a 5X112MM spread on the bolts and the offset is different. I know cause 'm have a VwGTI VR6 for 3 yrs and the pattern is the same as audi. If you do manage to get them to fit. They will vibrate so trust me, sell your rims and get some OZ or BBS

Ummmm....no Audi A4 is 5x112 as well. And 235/40/17s DO NOT RUB. I did have to get new bolts though. the B5 generation A4 uses a 5-112 bolt pattern and a 57.1mm center bore
MB's use the 5-112 bolt pattern but, a 66.56 centerbore there may be a problem with the center bore of the Audi wheel being to small for you car. if the wheel uses a centering ring system you will need to get the correct centering rings as well as new lug bolts
