18 or 19s

If you actually want to drive your car, I wouldn't go larger than 18s. Otherwise, you'll be living in fear of the smallest pothole. As it is, you'll be taking chances with 18s. Keep in mind that there is usually a dramatic increase in tire cost from 17s to 18s. Could you just put a wider tire on the C7 wheels? Good luck.

thanks for the advise. You are right, I would like to drive my car, I just like the look of taller rims. I think that the wheel wells are too large and it looks like I have 16s instead of 17s. I'm aware of cost of tires, but just to let all know. I have a buddy that has a porsche turbo and he has been using these tires called kumos(? spelling), they work great and are very affortable. Does someone have pics of 18 or 19s on there car? I just feel that if BMW can put 19s on the M3, if can fit them, then why can't we on our c230. I'm comparing the cars, I'm only saying that it is capable to have very low profile tires and be ok! Thanks for the help.
