Hi. I am new to the forum. I just purchased a 1971 350SL with 4.5L V8. I have a leak in the power steering and from what I understand this is common and is generally the seal(s) on the power steering pump? Question is where to buy a replacement pump or does anyone know the part numbers - OEM or aftermarket for the seals? I could really use some resources for buying some reasonably priced parts as well so I can bring the car back to its former glory!! Thanks much!

I hope that you can restore the car to its former glory, it's such an iconic vehicle.

Please post up photos of the project (y)
Thanks!! It is in pretty decent condition for a 1971! I just don’t have the data base at this point to source the parts. I need a rebuilt power steering pump, steering box and a high pressure steering pump hose initially but the car is very driveable and licensed so it is not a panic.

Lovely looking car, it even has the wind deflector so it doesn't mess up your hair :D

Thank you. Just joined up and posted the question in the R/C 107 Forum.
Thanks Danno for coming here first, we're trying to build up this site like BenzWorld, so don't forget us and check in from time to time.
