I just bought a '95 c280 and it came with only one key. The key was just a normal little key. The car has an alarm, and it seems like every other '95 with an alarm that I have ever seen has a key with buttons to control the alarms and locks (I'm sure there is an easier word for the type of key, but I cant think of it right now.) Does anyone know if I should have one? If so, do you know where I could purchase one?
thanks

Heh... I am the only 16 year old I know of with a Benz (and the only way my parents helped me buy it was with a loan). I used to know of a few kids who had Benzes from the 80's... but they were ugly. Any youngin baby benz owners here?
The 95 C280 does NOT come with an infared FOB for door locks or security.
The only security feature is with the Becker radio. It has a flashing red light when the car is locked. There is no alarm system. The radio security is nothing more than the access code that is required if the radio loses power.

wow, you are lucky that you are only 16 and you got a mercedes! Congrats. I am 18 and i just got the coupe, but i wanted a 4 door car, but oh well. you get what you can get. When I was 16 and 17 one of my best friends got the BMW 3 series and the other got a new SLK, so yay, for nice cars.
I'm not totally sure if '95 model 202's weren't available with a keyless system. A quick check would be to look at the rearview mirror. If it has a red and green light on it, you can go to the dealer and get a remote key.
