I had a 2002 S500 and the brake went out on me. Luckily when they did go out, I was coasting to a stop. I called the dealership and told them that I did not want such an expensive car and still have to risk teh brakes failing on me. They offered me the newest model at the time, and I reluctantly went back with Mercedes.

The Problem:

With the new S500, I got a message that the Brake Assist and EDS programs failed. The brakes also began to feel soft. I had the car serviced and now they feel the same. This is the same sensation in the brakes as I noticed before my brakes went out the first time.

My question is are other S Class drivers having the same problem or is my dealership giving me substandard service?

Send me some advice or any ideas.
