2002 CLK 55 sunroof won't fully close

I'm looking for some help here so thank you in advance.

My sunroof will close 80% when I push the sunroof button forward and then come to a complete stop. However when I push the sunroof button UP the glass will close almost 95% then come to a complete stop. My guiding the glass doesn't help and neither does pushing down the wind deflector.

Any thoughts?:confused:

It probably needs resetting, to do this close the sunroof and then press and hold the sunroof switch in the closed position (with engine running) for a minimum 15 seconds, then open the sunroof to the fully open position then press and hold the sunroof switch in the open position for a minimum of 15 seconds, and the roof should normalize after this procedure.

So if one of my seats really likes to go forward all the time and back infrequently it could possibly be reset or it sounds like a faulty switch?
