Welcome - I did a quick search and found some discussions on Mann filter O-rings here: (2) 2004 e320 oil filter oring? | Mercedes-Benz Forum (benzworld.org). 2002 ML320 Oil Change
Hey guys,
just did an oil change in my dads 2002 ml320. I purchased a Mann filter that came with 4 or 5 o rings, the largest o ring is a no brainer as to where it goes however the other ones have nowhere to be installed. When I look at the assembly which holds the oil filter and o rings there seems to be a plastic washer or a plastic o ring. Are the o rings supposed to go over those plastic rings.

Thank you, that helped a bit.
