Hello All,

I have a 2004 SL 500 and the passenger windows won't go up! I can hear the motor click when I press the knob (on both doors), but the window doesn't go up. I am wondering if it is a relay issue?

My question to you is:
What the heck is the actual issue and...
Where is the relay for the passenger side windows?

Please, any and all help is very much needed and appreciated

It sounds like the motor regulator is faulty!
They do suffer from plastic parts breaking, Check fuses 62 and 63 just in case it's one of those.

If you’re hearing the motor it is likely a plastic gear has cracked.

I agree with the window regulator as I have bought quite a few. When the regulator goes out the window drops all the way down and when the sequencing is off the windows are stuck somewhere in between up and down on my car.
