:!: :?: I'm very conflicted. After doing much research, test drives, negotiating (getting under wholesale) and getting a loan, I'm not sure now. Should I get this car? Most of the subject threads I've seen online have people gushing about the 230K, even people who paid full pop. But then there's the "Is this car a lemon" thread in this forum. Electric problems, ESP malfunctioning, stalling while driving!

Is this just the first year bug people experienced? If I get a 2003 will I be safe and happy? Please help, I've fallen in love and I don't want to find out the car is really a worthless tramp after I get it home... The car drives great, is pretty (the most important thing), has neat features you find on more expensive MB's. I want it, so tell me what I want to hear! Kidding aside, please help me decide, I'm conflicted....

If you like it buy it , I did and do not have to look back, it''s a great car. All cars that you read about will have good and bad, but with the warranty and all the features, it's hard to go wrong. I'm now 60 and have bought a lot of car, 230Z Mach 1, Charger (hemi) and still think the Coupe is worth the money. So if you enjoy driving, buy it and join us on the forum.
GOOD LUCK

Re: C230 Kompressor

If you buy it you will congratulate yourself for as long as you will drive it. Yes, Mercedes did have models that did not boast the MB reliability. MLs were some of them. With a C230k you cannot go wrong. If you do not complain about lack of luxury features this is the car for you (provided anyone should be a MB type of person). And it is one of the most fun to drive in its class - and not only.

I love mine. I drive over 1 hour each way to work, and most days it seems that the commute is over too soon. Buy the car.
