model 123-130 Tranny only upshift from 1st to 2nd.
if start in L then manual to S. it upshift to 2nd. afterwards stays in 2nd.
if start in D then it just stays in 2nd. have been up to 50mpg and no upshift. What to do?
PS R & N work fine, changed tran filter and fluid. then idle mostly n run some several hours in all various gears by elevate all 4 wheels. Engine just has 98,000 miles. the filter has 3/4" nozzle that indicates a 722.1xx series per ATRA. also the ATRA bk the 1978 300D has a 123.270.07.01 valve body and guvnr is 115 270 21 74
btw when change filter were only small amount fine black powder. no burnt smell when wipe with light cloth on one very small spec per sq cm only seen by reflection in bright sunlight. one man say it just norm wear
also unplug up shift under pedal but same sa
