Group,

I have had to adjust my back break light several times. I get a defective bulb reading then i turn it and it comes back on. Now the back right brake light is out again and the center brake light. Any ideas?

taillamp

look at the bulb sockets and tailamp itself for signs of melting or burning. if they are burnt, which is common, you will need to replace the whole taillamp. (not a big deal, 6o bucks or so and 5 minutes to install.) also, even if burning is not visible, the metal contacts often sink into the plastic of the light due to heat and create a permanent loose connection. This also reqires tailamp replacement to correct. hope this helps.

FYI this is a very common problem. The dealer will have
a technical service bulletin that covers this problem.

My mechanic scraped some sort of corrosion/residue
and the brake light worked after that.
