Oh the dreaded topic has arrived 
Last week as I was headed to some early morning appointments, a jacked up pickup stopped in front of me on the road (illegal). As i passed him he opened his door (also illegal in case the insurance co. is reading ). His door caught on my passenger side fender...
* Cost of repair....$1700.00 (US)
* Time spent at mechanic (est.).... 1 week
* Look on pickup guy's face when he saw HIS damage.... Priceless baby!!!
As much as I hate seeing my Benz busted up, it made me feel so much better when I saw Mr. Construction Dudes giant truck door reduced to a shred of its former self. My damage was a large fist sized dent in the front fender and the passenger mirror being knocked off, as well as some minor scratches. But the metal on the truck door was peeled way back :twisted:
No one was hurt - and it was an honest mistake on both drivers faults :roll: . But everyone reading this who has a Benz can rest easy knowing no matter how small the Benz...It's tough as a tank - and I've driven those as well.
