My wife recent hit a curb while driving my C-Class and is causing the vehicle to pull to the right. I took the car into the dealer, they indicated it would run $275.00 for the fix because they would have to drop the front and get into the suspension versus a normal Set & Tow alignment.

Just curious if the dealer is pulling my chain, or if I legitimately need to more invasive alignment repair?

Thanks!

Zewerr is correct any hit that causes a pull means something is bent. A good shop should be able to check the alignment and repair it according to what specs are not correct. Sometimes an alignment specialty shop is better staffed to help you for less money than the dealer.
