Several months ago purchased a 14 plate AMG C class that appeared to be immaculate.
After few weeks went out one evening to find the panoramic roof had exploded!!
2 months later I was able to get a replacement roof from Germany which the local mercedes dealer fitted.
Drove the car home parked it assuming all was well.
Oh no!..,......tried to start car....nothing except a message telling me to contact garage as apparently the automatic gearbox was stuck in a gear!.
Tried everything to find problem but to no avail.
Called my garage and they came to me with their diagnostic equipment operating normally
Could not read anything to do with engine and gearbox but could read everything else to do with car
Battery is fully charged and all equipment operating ok except engine which shows no signs of life
Has anyone experienced this problem and if so how did you resolve it.
Please advise if you can help as I am unable to find any answers.
