my antenna sucks.........anyone know why? i can't get any radio stations in. I usually listen to cd's but i want to listen to the radio once in a while. but it sucks. I had a system put in would that have any effect?

If you had a system istalled, they could have installed it incorrectly. Have them check the antenna cable connections and the antenna amp.

My 1999 E300 D has no external radio antenna. Looks good...works terribly. AM reception limited to under 100 miles and static free reception under 35 miles. My old 1990 model 300D had an external antenna and AM reception was good for HUNDREDS of miles. I could get KCTA out of Corpus Christi, TX as far East as 30 miles West of Beaumont, TX; or as far West as Eagle Pass, TX. Any suggestions on what to do to improve AM reception?
