does anyone have experience with the bazooka subs in a c230? i am thinking now about leaving the factory radio, dimming the bass as to use that for highs, and some mids, then counting on the bazooka for bass with the 200 watt amp built into it.
i'm still looking around. thinking i may have to get an amp and do the door speakers. i had a great set up in a 190e with 4 mb quarts and 2 12in subs but that took up a lot of space so i really wanna use the 4 in the car for the whole deal with the tweeters
Bazookas will definitely do the job, Im not crazy about the built in amp. you need to go with a mono amp, specifically for the su, but also remember the gas tank behind the seat, so your bass is going to come through the rear deck lid. many people with MBZ's cut through the rear deck, so they can experience the real bass. ask around and go to a reputable shop, and use only seriously qualified people, if you're gonna go the cutting route.
