C230 Coupe WINS V-car show

I entered teammguiars v-car show to see how my stock Coupe would do, lot of tough competition, and the car won. Attached pic was what I used, got a lot of positive comments about the car; most could not believe it was a MB. I was surprised, seeing all the show cars and what they call tuner cars, that the Coupe was number one. Not only in the MB class (tough class) but top Euro and most votes (227 vs. 206) also number 5 or 6 out of 1592 cars and trucks. Like to thank all of you, that help support this effort, even thou it was not the most popular color for the Coupe. Love my Coupe………..

Great Job!!! :D

I think you forgot to attach car pictures... Is there a way to see what people were saying about the car? It's pretty interesting :)

Once again, great job! Congratulations!
First off...Congratulations!

Could you tell us a bit more about the show, the type of competition you entered. What is a v-show? Looking forward to seeing the pics. :D
not sure how to add a image. go to http://www.teammeguiars.com/vcarshow.asp
then click on search by username type c230k. Did it for fun, you will notice the different car classifications to view. Like their products and they have good prices. Have decided to use their products and some far so good.

Tom, did you paint your cars grille?
No, bought "black out" tape (pep boys)it's cheap and if you do not like peal off or replace as needed. It's easy to put on and looks just like paint. Never cared for chrome.

It;s what ever is legal in Florida, the photo makes it look darker than it really is. Think legal tint is just right for the car, what color did you get?

Some people have reported problems with the tint being scratched by the movement of the power windows. One solution has been to install a soft liner material between the window lip and the tint material. Did your installer do anything special to avoid this problem?
Definately tinting is the way to go ...but I have mad scratches on my power windows, mine are 20% illegal but the po don't really care but tints should be the first mod definately it makes it lsleek esp if you have a black car like my baby
