Hi. I have previously purchased a A203 CD Changer for my 2002 C230K.
When MB dealer technician put in the changer, the radio did not see the changer installed. So, they assume that CD changer was no good. So, I sent back the changer to the retailer and they send me another one to put in. But, same thing happend. Radio did not recognize the CD changer. Luckly my retaler was great and he gave me refund.

Did any one else had this problem? If yes, how was it fixed? Can the CD changer just put in and it works?

I struck out with my first changer which was not recognized but the second worked immediately upon connection and still does. No reprogramming was required. Each was a unit removed from another car.
