i was thinking about a c230k but i think all wheel drive will be better for the winter weather here in winnipeg, so i m looking into the models with all wheel drive. the above 3 are the options that i have, which one do you recommend?

Audi. It has a better AWD system than the Mercedes, and is probably cheaper than the BMW.
audi is a few thousand cdn$ cheaper, but with the least power out of the 3 from what i found out in the specs after readint from their official sites.

although money can be a factor, but i m wondering about the performance of the cars and also if these car can handle icy winters well enough?

cuz i crashed my subaru outback couple months ago in an icy day.
Nothing is ice proof. I don't know anything about the AWD system in the BMW, but the Quattro is better technically than the 4MATIC. I don't know if that means it would actually be better on the road. I haven't heard any complaints from 4MATIC owners.

When it is slick, you are better off with less power. On the other hand the Audi can be easily and cheaply chipped to produce a lot more power. Some of the chip tuners of switchable chips, so that you can use the factory program in bad weather or when you take the car to the dealer.
i went to check out those cars yesterday, i was most impressed by the bmw 325xi, the interior looks better than the other ones, and the options are better. so i m thinking about getting that 325xi now.
To confuse the picture even more, check out the Jaguar X-type.
The C240 is actually the least powerful.
However the new C230K Sedan may have a 4Matic option also.
(Should have brought my catalogue to work)

The Audi can be had for $37,300 standard with Leather seating surfaces. If your after quality allwheel drive you can't beat that price. If your after a benz allwheel drive I'd investigate the possibility of a C230K Sedan 4matic.

yeah, i looked at the audi a4 1.8t quattro first and the price is pretty attractive, about cdn 42000 fully loaded.
but after i saw the bmw 325xi, i think i will go for that one.

anyone know when will 2004 325xi come out this year?
cuz if it's out in the summer, then i will probably wait for it.
