Hi,

I'm about to start the front rotors and breaks replacement on my ML320-98.
1. Is there any special tools required on taking all apart? I do have torx and allen bit sets, as well as standard metric and english sockets.
2. Can someone please tell me the torque specs on all the bolts for callipers to arm, arm to the chassis and whatever else.

Thanks in advance.

No special tools needed for the brakes. I wouldnt worry about torqueing everything. Keep in mind that when u take the rear rotors off, make sure that you loosen up the ebrake shoes through the adjuster inside the rotors. Be aware that it might be a smart idea to replace the ebrake shoes if the linig of the shoes are starting to separate from the backing.
