I have a 91 SEC560 and none of my electronic equipment (phones, Palm, etc) car chargers meant to be pluged into standard cigarete lghters will work in this car's cigarette lighter. I have looked everywhere and cannot find some sort of adapter that will plug into the Benz lighter and provide a standard socket at the other end. :?:

Is there such a thing? Is there some other solution?

Surely there must be some answer...I can't be the only one with this problem!

Welcome to the board. You are not the only one with that problem, but I haven't heard on any solution.

Wow. I'm stunned there is no soultion. Radio Shack, the Benz dealer and other Benz owners have all said, "Gee, that's really a common problem, but there is no solution."

It seems with such a need, someone would have created a product.
