My '01 E320 wagon has recently started losing pixels in this diaplay. The problem does not seem to be with the same areas of the display and seems to correct itself if I drive for more than 10-15 minutes. I have seen similar posts where the fix appears to be anew cluster. However, none of these indicate that the problem is intermittent or variable.

Any thoughts on what is going on here and how I might be able to correct it?

Thanks

Clock loosing pixels in the display E220

I have visited the garage and suggested to me to pay 1400 Euros in order to replace the whole dash monitor .

Thanks

What you have is a connector problem. There is a ribbon connector that powers the digital display and some of the contacts are either dirty or just going bad. You should not have to replace the display.

Display bad - clock/temp

Could you elaborate on that please. We have two E320's 2001 in our immediate family and both have that problem. The dealer also told us the entire display would have to be replaced ($1000 + or -)
Thanks
