You have to buy a dealership. No, I'm not kidding. I've heard that the DAS system can be leased by independent shops for $25000/year. Now you know why they charge you everytime they hook it up.
I wonder if that will change now...IIRC the independant shops have been lobbying congress for legislation to prevent the MFR's from locking them out 'digitially'.
