Hi,

I went to the gas station to fill up my MB E430 2000 model...and I set the gas pump to autofill such that it would stop when the tank was full. For some reason it didn't stop and it overfilled my gas tank. I took out the gas pump and at least 1-2 gallons extra fuel poured out of my tank. I wiped my car and left the station.

Then as I was driving the car home, it kinda lost power and then gained power...sort of stalling action. Then I revved up the engine and it was fine again...This morning it did the same thing, losing power and such.

I opened the gas tank and hear a funny "sucking" sound.

I am just wondering, what is happening? Does it just have extra fuel that I just keep driving and burning off and wait for the car to return to normal ?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Problem Solved

Just drove around crazy for 2 days and finally stalling ended.

Looks like when there is too much gas in the card, the fuel line gets clogged and some stalling action happens.
