Hello, i have 1988 190E 2.6.

I always drive with speed 100km/h on highways, but i like high speed. And some ppl say to me that when i drive more than 120km/h and more...it is not good for engine, and it'll be malfunction faster than the engine that always was driven at 100km/h, is it true? should i listen to them and still drive 100? cuz..i know nothing about engines..

and one more question, when i instantly start of the place...i dont know how to say in english, but when i very fast take off, and back tires are screaming on road....is it also not good for engine??

cuz..i like do all that stuff:) especially when there are nice girls watching :p

The hight you rev the motor the quicker it will wear. But the difference between 100kph and 120 kph is not much. Spinning the tires regularly will cause a lot of wear to the car. It is hard on the tires, bearings and joints, differential, transmission, clutch and engine.
