Hi y'all,

I am a young 60! I also have a 300E. We Western Canadians stay young at heart and I sure like my new 230(in Canadian dollars(!!): Desert Silver with Oyster leather. But I drove a Porche 356 when I was young like some of you folks.

wow, lots of you that are 19 are buying it yourselves. i wish i did, i am 19 year old girl but i got it as a present. how much do you pay every month or in full for? i don't pay for my car, but i have to pay like 400 dollars for apt rent and school tuition, so i figure the car payment every month can't be more than that.

My first car in 1968 was a '51 Chevy with a two speed automatic and first gear was broken. It was a reliable car, but the third time it got bashed by a drunk while it was parked, it was no longer worth the cost of repairs. It was bought new by my grandfather, and then driven by my dad.

Yeah, I’m 19 too (times 2.578). I paid for my car myself too, cash at delivery. Oh to be 19 and drive a Benz in my day, it would have been grand. If I were 19 with a coupe today I’d probably die before 30 from an STD. Then again that may not be that bad of a destiny. Actually at 19 I had an Opel GT and surprisingly that work pretty well for me and I‘m still alive today, it was a different time. :lol:

A question to all those who can't drink legally, what good is having a Mercedes in high school if all you do is drive around all day, go to diners, party at public parks, and hang out at 7-11? Just kidding. I got mine when I was 19, I'm now 21 (I hate how my c230 is soo old) But I am glad to say that I ordered it completely customized before it came out (my RAY CATENA dealer didn't know that the Bose system did NOT include a CD player or what the C7 rims looked like) and that I had one of the first coupes on the street even though I had to wait 6 months for it. Mine's so old. First car was a 1999 4Runner, then I got a 2001 IS300, then I sold that to my brother and got my 2002 C230. It's real great.
