Hello, I have a 1997 C280 it appears to have problems with the automatic transmission, it has 100,000 KM on the car. The problem is between first and second it feels like it is slipping. Has anyone else experienced this with there car.
Also do these cars come with a alarms, I can not get mine to go off so I figure its broken or not there.
Also what are a good set of head light bulbs you know those cool ones on the new Mercedes and BMW that look like their blue

Its going to be quite expencive according to my MB Dealer to fix the transmission i am all tapped out of cash.

The blue appearing headlights are xenon High Intensity Discharge lights. They are pricey, but can be retrofitted to your car. You can get factory housings and bulbs, or a conversion kit which is cheaper, but still several hundred dollars.

Those are not real xenon HID's. They are standard bulbs with a blue dye on them. If they are the same wattage as your stock bulbs, they will be significantly dimmer. The only way they could be brighter is if the operate at a much higher wattage. This is dangerous. It can damage your wiring and even start a fire. Over wattage bulbs can also dazzle oncoming drivers.
