Hi,
I am new to the board, and I am currently looking into buying a C230K Coupe and was wondering if anyone has heard of any upgrades for the 2003 models? Is anything changing, any new options? Is there going to be a price increase/decrease in 2003? I am debating whether to order in and around December or waiting until the summer. I live in Canada, if that makes a difference.

The major change is the new engine. The 2.3 has been replaced with a 1.8. The new engine is smoother because it has balance shafts, and it get 7% better fuel economy. Power is down a little but performance is about the same because the new engine is lighter. The formerly grossly overpriced dealer installed cd-changer is now available as a somewhat overpriced factory installed option. There is one new color, Pewter. Bi-xenon headlights are now an option.

The price stayed the same but a couple of items such as auto-dimming mirrors are now optional. The prices of some options and option packages have increased.

If you wait until next summer to order, you will get a 2004.

I've decided to order in March or April of 2003, the xenon headlights are a must for me. I visited the dealership over the weekend and was baffled that the car came with a tape-deck, and an in-dash cd player is not available... and yes, the stacker is way overpriced.
