The average wait for a custom order seems to be about 2 - 2 1/2 months.

The major delay seems to be the shipping.
My 03 C230 was scheduled to be built in the first week of October, and was scheduled for landfall around the middle of November.

The dealer called and sez the car was built on September 30th, but still won't make it to southern CA until November 15.

We thought the west coast port lock-out might have delayed things further, but all Benz's are shipped to the Eastern US ports then transported via land transport.

Can't wait!
