Hi everyone, a newbie here on this forum and a newbie owning a mercedes.
I bought a 2002 S430 less than a week ago. The vehicle is in flawless condition and doesn't have any problems until today.

I was driving home today and all of sudden all my lights on my instrument cluster went out including lights on the buttons on my dashboard, (hazard, door unlocks, etc..). Also noticed i wasn't getting any turn signal sounds. I thought this was due to a bad fuse and checked mannual for fuse information and the fuse diagram in the trunk. After studying the diagrams and fuse information, i opened up the hood and tried replacing, F20, 21, 22 fuses with spare F5 fuse. When i replaced 22 fuse, all the lights went on in the instrument cluster and dashboard and i was like phewww... but after 5 seconds, lights on my instrument cluster started flickering and went out again. But this time, lights on my bashboard buttons are on and the divided line and pins on my instrument cluster light up. Numbers on speed odometer, letters, fuel indication, all those are out still... Now im pretty much stuck on what to do.. Please advise..

fyi, those lights that are out (Numbers on speed odometer, letters, fuel indication, etc..) do come on for a split second once in a while after engine is on...
