2008 clk350 cabriolet, drivers seat lumbar no working, ideas please, thanks

Check your fuses first.
Was it working and then stopped? Or never worked?
Some folks have also suggested to unplug the wiring harness and then plugging it back in; I'm not sure why that would work, other than it may reset something in the controls.

Thanks, never has worked since I got the car 5 years ago, haven't had time to work with it, seems like no power to the controls on side of seat, not sure where fuses are, trunk or under hood or side panel. Thanks for any ideas

Your owner's manual will show you fuse locations.
I would also suggest you look into replacing the entire switch.
