I have a new problem with my window (driver side), when i click on the botton to raise my window all the way, it stops at like 80% of the way and drops back down to like 60%. Anybody know why it does this? It never did it before.

thank you

drivers window problem

I have had the same problem and the dealer has looked at it 4 times. The regulator was replaced and...it still does the hamster dance.

the problem is the window is hiting something. so it stop. mine did it and to find out the piece that hold the door in position when you open it. eventually mine broke off inside the door panel and i had to remove the door panel and take the piece out. no problem after that.

FYI ... probably the window alignment had run-out....

if that was the case ....
check and adjust back the movement alignment ...
or
You may spray some lubricants like Silicone Spray at the Window Run Rubber

then , re-synchronize / re-setting the window system

basically .. the window movement need pre-setting for the AUTO stage .... ;)

the power window switch basically had 2 contacts
1 .. slidly press ... manual operation contact
..... the window will STOP , if the switch is not activated
2 .. fully press ... auto operation contact
..... the window will auto wind up/down , if the switch is activated

the system need a calculation for the window movement ..
What is the current ampare consume .. from the top / bottom

to re-setting for the AUTO wind up/down ...
just follow the steps ...

1st ... Wind up the window fully with slidly press ...:D
2nd ... Hold the switch for 2-3 seconds when the window had fully wind-up
3rd ... Press the window switch further to the fully contact ..

(the memory had programmed)

try it out for yourself ... hope this helps ....
