Hi,
I have a 1991 Mercedes 560sel.. The small plastic tube/piece that comes out of the top of the radiator, which attaches to the overflow line, that leads to the anti-freeze re-fill reservoir snapped off. Is there an easy way to repair this? or do I have to buy a new radiator? I can't believe that they would make this part out of plastic. Is there a reason why they did? Thank You for any suggestions

radiator tube

MB makes a part to replace that elbow, its under 10 dollars and takes under 10 minutes to install, just have a suitable hook handy to pull the remaining piece out of the radiator. I dont know the part number off the top of my head, but if you need it get back to me and i will post it for you
