I have had mixed dealings with Ray Catena.

My 1998 SLK was destroyed by them. I had the car in to fix the A/C unit and the BOSE sound system. They fixed both problems but broke the roof, seats, and 2 speakers. All were fixed eventually (under warrantee) but cost Mercedes $4,500 in parts and labor.

Our 2001 S-Type was, and still is, serviced by Ray Catena Jaguar. There has been no problems to report, and we are very happy with the dealership.

Purchased my coupe from Ray's in June. The buying experience was good. Haven't had any service related visits at this time. My salesperson was Craig Harris, nice person with whom to work. I do know that this dealership gives you a Mercedes loaner when needed, with less than 5,000 miles on it.

I have a lot of experience with them.

Their service is great. But I got scratches in my rear bumper...they admitted, and will fix it next week....we will see what happen.

I like their loaner... you sure will get a MB C-class loaner under 5K miles...

overall = 90+ score out of 100.

Just brought the S-Type in for it's 30,000 mile service.

Got a loaner car free....chevy malibu :roll:

Went to pick up the car and was told service went well and the problem we were having with the transmission was fixed...well, it seems they made it worse not better, couldn't get the car into gear. The service guy told us he was very sorry and told us he would have it fixed for tomorrow.

Our car also came back filthy...he said that the roof of the service department was leaking and the yellowish stains were rust leaks and that the car would be washed for us tomorrow...

Nothing major and they will fix it, but it seems everytime Ray C touches any car they fix one thing and mess up one or more things.

I actually bought my C230 from Ray's via Priceline. I can't say the experience was entirely great since it took me around 6 hours to finally drive off with my car. I presume it was because the sales rep wasn't making a big commission off my purchase so I was constantly pushed to the back of the line.

But despite that, I got the car I wanted at a great price without any problems.
