Hi:
I just bought a Delphi XM satellite radio receiver (external) and I want to hardwire it into the car. I also bought the car kit and FM modulator that hooks into the radio. Can anyone help me get started?? Here is the link for the modulator.

You will need to remove the radio to access the antenna cable. You will need a kit to adapt the connectors using a kit from Schosche (sp?). The part number begins with VW. Many people have mounted the XM or Sirius antenna in the middle of the cargo cover. You might need to use metal foil under the cover as a ground plane. There are many threads about satellite radios at forums.mbworld.org Also at mbworld are the instructions for removing the radio. Use "installation" as the search parameter, ans "session" as the member name.
