Help,
I am what appears to be one of the 3 SLK 5speed owners in the US. I think that the shifter could/should be a bit more precise. There are shifter kits for BMW and othe makers but I have found none for the MB SK.
Any suggestions?

I'm marrying one of the other two 5 speed SLK owners, she has a 2000 SLK230 with Sport package. I don't know if that is different than your setup, but I find it very precise. I do have some trouble with reverse and the 1st to 2nd transition, but this is partially due to the fact that my car is an old 5 speed Accord with reverse on the opposite side. I'll be changing that soon enough when my C230 arrives!
