Another tech question: Would you put Iridium NGK plugs in the 3,2 liters V6 of my E320 of year 2000, instead of the OEM suggested?

Mercedes-Benz uses NGK's on some M111 engines, but never M112's like yours. Though NGK's usually work good in pretty much any engine, the recommended Bosch's work great in your engine and last forever, I don't know why you would want anything different.

Thanks Zewerr. The reason I ask this question is that these NGK Iridium are quite new and maybe even better than everything else? I put some of these on my motorcycle and I'm very satisfied. If I undersand what you said, maybe a motor is designed to work with one specific brand of spark plugs?

No, not really. Usually when you mix and match brands of spark plugs with what the different makes of engines (I.E. AC Delco plug usually work the best with GM's) they never run as well. But the exception to the case alot of times is NGK. I know NGK's work pretty well in many MB's, GM's, Most Japanese engines. I actually use them in my GMC. They would probably work great in your engine, but I seriously doubt that they will work better than the OEM recommendations.
