Squeaking S600 Suspension...

My rear suspension ('95-140 chassis) is very squeaky
on both sides, first on the right with the left joining in
a few months later. Any ideas?

Has the suspension become more bouncy than it used to be?
New Suspension Bladders...

I've replaced the air bladders and carefully purged air from the system,
even removing the shocks and priming them with fluid. Earlier I had
"the bounce" and the rear was dragging. So I've learned a lot about
the ADS-II system. The ride is good now, though the suspension
switch doesn't seem to do much. Then there's the nasty squeak!

The "earlier bounce problem" is most probably what has caused the squeak you now hear and it usually comes from the rear suspension bushings that have been stressed.
Thank you, thank you, thank you . . .

As you know, the shock absorbers are painfully expensive, so
the chance that it's a bushing problem sounds great to me.
I've not worked on the rear suspension before, so can you
direct me to the particular control arms/bushings to examine.
FYI, I use an online service manual from AllDataDIY.com.

Hand on the shock . . .

To all : When I feel around on the suspension while making the
car bounce a bit, it seems like the noise is centered on the shock
absorber shaft. And if I push sideways on the shaft the noise
seems to change. Has anyone had this experience too?

Check the rear lower control arm bushings. Sometimes called the pivot bushing.

Thanks. Based on advice from others also, I am currently
replacing the lower bushings. Jim...
