There is no way outside of spending thousands on custom work. It is possible for some one who understands the wiring of both the car and the specific aftermarket unit, but you would spend so much money it would not be worth it. Plus you would void the warranty on most of the car's electrical system as you would be splicing into places that were never meant to be spliced into. So I guess, no.
Alpine sells a module in Europe which allows the use of the steering wheels controls with their products. It does not seem to be sold in the US. I have found part numbers KCE868B and KCE863B. The former is for the W209 and W211, and thelatter is for the W203.
The KCE-863B or KCE-868B can only be installed by a Mercedes dealer because the electronic ignition switch must be removed. It may disable the cruise control. It doesn't work with all Alpine headunits.
