Most of the mechanics here misdiagnose the problems. And if the user needs to change 1 part, they make him change 5 parts until he reaches the desired solution.

I have these codes in the picture, please help me. What is the solution to my problem?
The car is W203, C230 Sport 2007.
My problem is that my car consumes a lot of fuel, instead of consuming 140 km in the tank, it consumes a maximum of 95 km. What is the cause of my problem and what is the solution?

A search of your codes on the Internet shows the information below.
Has any basic maintenance been done, or is due? Such as changing plugs?
The P0355 - coil 5 - is probably the most specific fix you can do first. I would replace that coil, clear codes and see if any codes come back. Don't drive with a faulty coil - I did and it caused one of my catalytic converters to go out... :(

P0355 -
  • Faulty Ignition Coil 5
  • Ignition Coil 5 harness is open or shorted
  • Ignition Coil 5 circuit poor electrical connection
  • Faulty Engine Control Module (ECM)
P0172 - System too rich, bank 1.
  • Faulty Front Heated Oxygen Sensor
  • Faulty Spark Plugs
  • Faulty Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor
  • Exhaust Gas Leaks
  • Ignition Misfiring
  • Incorrect Fuel Pressure
  • Faulty Fuel Injectors
P0175 - Same as P-0172 above but bank 2

Hello! I'm almost tired of figuring out what is happening inside my car.

I have a W203 V6 C230 Sport 2007.

I have no fault codes on the engine or the transmission. But, Here are some apparent symptoms that I'm facing:
  • I am facing a hurting/ugly smell out of the exhaust (not all the time but especially in the first start).
  • Facing hard starting up when I start the car at the beginning of the day (temp here is around 20°C).
  • Very poor fuel consumption! This engine should consume about 160 km in the city per tank. It really does go 100 km max!
  • Sometimes, some hesitation.
After hard and deep research, I'm almost sure that my problem is the Mass Air Flow Sensor (MAF). I ordered a cleaning spray, but haven't received it yet. But with this post and the attached pictures of the live data (Please see the links), what do you think is the solution to the problem? I have read that the result of the O2 sensors should be between 0 and 1. But I have about 1.45 !!!
I also have thought, as long as the O2 sensors are giving results, does this mean that they are working properly?
