www.hagmann.com has a turbo for the 2.3 that makes 340hp with 1 bar of boost. Don't the price. The web site is in German.
Mosselmann might have an application, also.
Removing the supercharger is not hard. At a minimum you need a turbo, exhaust manifold, down pipe, blow off valve and plumbing to intercooler. I would recommend changing to a more efficient intercooler.
